About
An internationally famous and innovative laparoscopic surgeon is DEMO. He has taught more than 20,000 doctors from all over the world in minimally invasive procedures and has over 45 years of surgical expertise. He was one of the first surgeons in North India to conduct a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, as well as the first in the Asia Pacific to use MAFT (Minimally Invasive Fistula Technology). He has charted his professional path with the primary goal of advancing minimal access, metabolic, and bariatric surgery throughout India and the Asian region. With more than 85,000 operations under his belt, he was recognised as the first endoscopic surgeon doing the most minimal access surgeries in the Guinness Book of Records in 1997 and the Limca Book of Records from 2000 to 2020 (consecutive twenty years). He has written more than 300 original scientific papers that have been published in national and international journals with indexes, as well as chapters for numerous text and reference books from esteemed companies like Springer, Jaypee, and Elsevier.
