Recovery support
Post-Treatment Follow-up
Stay connected after discharge with follow-up scheduling, report sharing, recovery guidance coordination, and remote review support.
Overview
Leaving the hospital is not the end of the medical journey. Patients often need medication clarification, wound-care guidance from the hospital, report sharing, remote reviews, rehabilitation planning, and reassurance after returning home. Medavelle helps keep the follow-up process organised so recovery does not feel disconnected.
What Medavelle does
- Compile discharge summaries, investigation results, procedure notes, prescriptions, and follow-up advice
- Schedule follow-up reviews with the treating consultant or hospital team
- Coordinate remote consultations when the doctor recommends them
- Help share reports with your local physician for continuity of care
- Track follow-up milestones such as review dates, repeat tests, suture removal, rehabilitation, or medication checks
What to expect
- Follow-up frequency depends on your treatment and clinical advice
- Medication, diet, activity, wound-care, and rehabilitation guidance must come from the treating team
- Remote follow-up depends on doctor availability and the type of concern
- New or urgent symptoms should be reported immediately to local emergency care and the treating hospital
What we do not do
- We do not prescribe medication or alter clinical plans
- We are not a substitute for a local primary-care physician
- We do not advise patients to ignore emergency symptoms or delay urgent care
What to share with us
- Discharge summary, procedure notes, and prescriptions
- Follow-up dates advised by the hospital
- Latest reports or photos requested by the doctor
- Local physician details, if you want records shared
- Current symptoms or recovery concerns, if any
